The Garmin-Sharp Inferno Bibshort 2013 was designed for the Garmin Sharp Barracuda riders so they could ride in the hottest mountain stages of the Grand Tours. Seven different fabrics come together to create a cycling bibshort that helps to keep you cool and fresh. Combined into the open and breathable fabric on the front is titanium dioxide, the active ingredient in sunscreen. The sun's rays are kept away from your skin. On the inside of the leg, abrasion resistant nylon ensures that these bibshorts have a long life. Made with the highly technologically advanced Progetto X2 Air chamois, you are protected and comfortable while never losing the lean race fit. Chafing is prevented by the skin care layer that is soft, stretchy and made with a seamless, bacteriostatic material. The cushioning layer has the maximum thickness under the ischial bones where you sit. In order to maintain a perfectly fitting pair of bibshorts, the padding thins down so you don't have any bulky chamois getting in the way of your fast pedaling legs. To top it off, perforated viscous comfort padding keeps the chamois breathable which adds to the comfort.

these bibs cool me off during hot rides
The mesh side panels and the fabric Castelli has used cools me down on my hot rides.  The construction is amazing. Multiple lycra panels give me excellent ventillation. The lycra even stays dry. These are great summer bibshorts.

supports and breathes
I can see why these shorts were designed for the Garmin-Sharp Team.  They have an incredible breathability to them while I still feel like my legs are sealed in--they are protected. They are also extremely aerodynamic---no bunching up in the fabric, no matter what position I am riding in. These are a very solid functional pair of cycling shorts.
