Sidi Ergo 4 Carbon Shoes - Mega

size chart
The SIDI Ergo 4 Mega Cycling Road Shoe is designed to support the wider foot of a cyclist as he presses the pedals, strains his legs and raises his heart rate to ride away from the chasing peloton. The Ergo 4 Mega cycling shoe is stiff, has multiple on-the-bike adjustments for the perfect fit as well as incomparable reliability. The Ergo 4 Mega is designed for the rider who needs a shoe to efficiently transfer his well-trained leg power into making his racing bike accelerate faster than that of the other cyclists in the peloton. For more than 50 years, SIDI has been developing cycling shoes that have brought top level racers across the finish line ahead of the rest. The Twelve Carbon Composite Sole is a new SIDI technology. Carbon fiber has been injected into a matrix of Nylon to create the lightweight, twelve carbon composite sole that doesn’t absorb moisture and doesn’t lose stiffness in wet or humid weather. The sole also maintains its stiffness after heavy usage. The fit is perfected through multiple features. Adjustable from both sides, the Soft Instep Closure System distributes pressure evenly and eliminates hot spots through a wide, anatomically curved strap. Comfort is enhanced with a soft, thermo-formed Eva pad. The Closure System is also replaceable. The Tecno-3 buckle dials in fit throughout the entire length of the shoe. The replaceable closure has been improved by SIDI’s new Wire material that is easy to adjust and perfect as you ride your bike. Another adjustment feature is the Caliper Buckle that can be micro-adjusted by lifting the central buckle. By lifting both side buckles at the same time, you open the shoe quickly. When looking for a slower adjustment, you can open the buckles one-by-one by pushing the center button. The third closure feature is the Velcro straps that have integrated locking polymer teeth engaged. When the strap is closed, the straps are unmoveable. The shoe’s heel is reinforced with the Adjustable Heel Retention Device so the rider’s heel stays in place. The heel cup retention device tightens so the rider’s heel doesn’t slide as the he pulls up on the shoe on a climb, through the corner at a criterium or in the final sprint. To tighten the heel turn the screws towards the (+) sign and to loosen the heel, turn the screws towards the (– ) sign. The Devise is lightweight, easy to use and replaceable. The shoe’s shape is kept in performance perfection by the reinforced heel. Combined with the replaceable parts, the SIDI Ergo 4 has a long life. 4 MM wider across the ball of the foot. More volume, a high instep and a wider heel cup.
