Castelli Competizione Short

Castelli incorporated much of the same technology to design the Castelli Competizione Short as they did to create their top end Aero Race shorts. The Competizione short is fast, comfortable but more affordable than the shorts raced in by Castelli’s pro team, Ineos. The main Vortex fabric is textured so air flows smoothly over the shorts making them fast. The fabric compresses without too much constriction. The compression keeps the shorts from creasing while allowing a cyclist with a bigger frame to have more freedom to move legs. The flat, wide silicone grippers in the GIRO4 leg gripper keep the shorts comfortably in place. The Affinity Pro Lycra® fabric on the inside of the legs fits close to skin and is abrasion resistant. By placing this stretchy, durable fabric on the inner legs, the shorts are aerodynamic, and they withstand any wear the saddle may have on the shorts as you pedal mile after mile. Sewn together with flat lock seams, the fabric feels soft against skin. Castelli designers paid close attention to ensuring comfort when designing the Competizione Bib-short. The KISS Air² seat pad keeps long, short, casual, and fast rides equally pleasurable. The seamless skin layer feels silky soft against skin and the padded portion between body and seat is multi-layered, so you have the right kind of padding in the right place. The padding stays dry thanks to porous construction that circulates air and keeps you dry and cool when you sweat.
