The Castelli Sleeveless Base Layer is a very lightweight sleeveless layer that lies next to your skin. This nearly unnoticeable layer keeps a slight fall chill away and it makes sure you stay dry when you sweat. The treatment spreads moisture over a larger area to evaporate sweat at speedy rates. The sleeveless top is made with two fabrics. The main body fabric is warmer and the more fibrous Micro fabric is placed in areas of the top that come into contact with the shorts so the rider doesn’t overheat. The base layer is cut to fit a cyclist’s body as he is leaned over the bike. This design ensures the top fits perfectly so it doesn’t crease against skin.
