The Trace-2 woman’s cycling shoe is a lighter mountain bike shoe with a stiff sole designed for the woman racer. The shoe is stiff, secure, durable, and designed specifically for a woman’s narrower foot. The narrowness across the ball of the foot and heel cup is combined with a great closure system and strong material to create a cycling shoe that fits a woman’s foot perfectly. SIDI’s Techno-3 system hugs a woman’s foot and distributes pressure evenly. The design helps to maximize power transfer and ensure comfort. The Soft Instep 3 Closure System is a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermo-formed EVA pad that can be adjusted from both sides for the perfect fit. The MTB RD17 sole is made of a blend between Nylon and PU. The combination creates a lighter stiff sole with enough flexion around the toe area. By allowing some movement, a female mountain biker’s foot doesn’t cramp. The Trace-2 is lighter and stiffer and best used on trails that require speed. The tread gives good grip and the toe tread insert is replaceable. When you need to hop off the mountain bike to run through mud, your shoes will keep you upright. The upper is supple to allow enough movement in your foot without compromising support. The shoe is made with Politex material that is layered making it strong, secure and resistant to tears.
