Furthermore, the injected nylon won’t absorb water and warp from extreme weather. The Microtech Microfiber upper is also water resistant. Rain and wet roads won’t deform your shoe. The Microfiber is race lightweight and constructed with water-based products for the environmentally conscious cyclist. SIDI’s Techno-3 System allows a cyclist to turn the dial so that the wiring shapes the Genius 10 cycling shoe around the shape of a foot. Turn the dial until you feel the best tension and you get a custom fit. The shoe is 4 mm wider across the ball of the foot, has a higher instep and a wider heel cup—it is made for a cyclist with a larger foot. To further perfect the fit, a wide, anatomically curved strap and a soft pad distribute pressure evenly. Furthermore, the reinforced polyurethane heal cup secures the foot in place, comfortably.
