The stiff Milennium 4 Carbon Composite sole in the SIDI Kaos Air Carbon cycling shoes provides you, the rider, with a surface where no leg power is lost from cycling shoe to pedal. While the stiff sole enhances performance, the toe area of the sole has enough flexion to allow circulation. Your feet do not cramp on short power rides or on long endurance rides. The flexion also relieves any unnecessary stress on your plantar tendon. In the Koas Air Carbon, performance does not compromise comfort. Fit is perfected through a series of features. The Caliper Buckle at the top and the two wire dials secure your foot into the shoe. The wire buckles that cross the forefoot and the toe can be incrementally tightened or loosened one ratchet at a time as you are riding your bike. The new SIDI Wire material is very low friction, making it easy to adjust. The wire buckles maximize comfort and power transfer efficiency as they evenly distribute pressure across the closure. The Caliper Buckle is another adjustment features that secures your foot into the shoe and allows you to find the perfect fit. Flip the lever up to tighten, and flip it down to lock your foot in place. The perfect fit is extended with the Soft Instep 2 Closure System that can be adjusted from both sides so the EVA pad is centered over the high and low instep.
