✔ The Politex material is constructed of several overlapping layers with different physical and mechanical properties. This compacted PVC is then coupled to two fabrics (knitted fabric and felt) that is then film dyed for long lasting color retention. Politex offers strong resistance to rips, lacerations, stretching and fading. Politex is made in strict compliance with European regulations and is considered a "green” product.

The Sidi T-5 AIR has many features that make this a great cycling shoe for a triathlete, yet it also has the race required stiffness and comfort for a bike racer. You will feel comfortable whether you are accelerating in a field sprint, putting in a time trial effort or churning the pedals as you ride in your T-5 Air up a mountain road. The T-5 is also very durable so it will last for many race seasons. The Twelve Carbon Composite Sole is made of nylon injected with carbon fiber. This combination results in a stiffer sole that lasts a long time so you can have shoes that efficiently transfer your leg power into the pedal for multiple seasons. As you pedal and accelerate, the reinforced heel cup keeps your foot in place while withstanding pressure, another feature that ensures the shoe maintains its high-quality race features and doesn’t degrade. To close the shoe, SIDI incorporated two straps with a grippy finish making them secure and easy to adjust on the bike or as you are making the transition from swim to bike. The oversized heel pull-tab makes it easy to pull on the shoe with no hesitation as you are speeding through the transition between two legs of a triathlon. The shoe is made with Politex material that has overlapping layers that complement themselves to provide a secure comfortable fit in a cycling shoe that resists tears, stretching and fading.
