The Astute Skycarb 3.0 VT Carbon/Carbon cycling seat has been designed for the cyclist who wants to be comfortable yet fast on those extra-long road rides that require high intensity efforts. The flat surface of the seat has two pads that help absorb the shock of the road by up to 20%. The Memory Foam padding is firmer in the back to support sit bones and softer in the front so as to provide comfort without restricting the pedal stroke. A cut-out eliminates pressure in the pelvic area increasing the protection needed on those long bike rides. A tension arc helps distribute the pressure evenly, one extra feature to ensure comfort. The full-carbon rail is strong, sturdy and very lightweight which is part of the reason the Skycarb only weights 170 grams.
