Castelli designers are on the forefront with the latest computer technology to study how air flows over fabric. By using this technology, the Aero Pro 7.0 Woman’s jersey has seams placed in just the right places specifically for a woman’s body in the riding position. The pro woman’s jersey has been tested by female pro racers who provided their input to create a jersey to support a female cyclist in a bike race. Made with the Air_O Stretch fabric, the jersey is stretchy enough to create a surface that feels like a second skin. The fabric is also highly breathable—it helps keep you from overheating dries sweat instantly. The jersey is great for racing in warm weather. Airflow shoulder construction, elbow-length stretch sleeves with raw-cut edge, and elastic around waist add features required for complete aerodynamics on the bike. The Bolero Short Sleeve base layer adds more aero gain while also helping regulate body temperature by adding another layer of breathable fabric. When extra ventilation is required, the YKK® Vislon® zipper is easy to open, yet when closed the zipper is unnoticeable and seals the jersey to provide a complete aero surface. Three rear pockets are easy-to-access and with the elastic around waist, the pockets stay flat.
