Castelli Dinamica Women’s Shoe Cover is a totally windproof and stretchy woman’s race shoe cover. The GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ X-Fast fabric is a new fabric that provides maximum protection against the wind while still allowing sweat to evaporate so your feet stay dry. The Infinium fabric is made up of billions of pores. Wind can’t get in through these pores, but water can escape. Additionally, a durable water repellant treatment is applied so water rolls off the shoe cover. A silicone grip at the top of the cuff keeps water from seeping into the shoe cover. Besides warmth and wind protection, the Dinamica blocks out light rain. In order to create a shoe cover that protects in cold weather, a fleece backing has been added so feet stay cozy in near freezing temperatures. Besides protecting against chilly, wet weather, the shoe cover creates an even more aerodynamic cycling shoe by providing a smooth surface for air flow. In the Dinamica, a woman cyclist is more protected and faster. Additionally, a cap is added to the heel to increase the longevity of the shoe cover.
