Castelli Elite Speed Suit

Testing by the German Triathlon Federation (DTU) shows that the Castelli Elite Speed Suit is the fastest swimming tri suit they’ve ever tested. The secret that makes the Speed Suit so fast is Castelli’s unique engineered stretch woven fabric. Instead of stitching together different fabrics, Castelli changed the texture of the fabric to make the ideal speed suit. The leg openings show the most evident benefit of the new fabric design. A gripper elastic is woven into the inside of the fabric to hold the leg in place while the rest of the leg is smooth for speed in the water. The lower portion of the suit is made from a single piece of fabric making it a simpler seamless construction that is more comfortable. The stretchy mesh fabric in the suit tests fast on a bike in the wind tunnel. A saddle liner provides protection in the TT position, so a triathlete won’t chafe on those long-distance time trials. On the run, the different fabric on the chest and back stays cooler and wicks sweat. These features help to ensure a triathlete maintains a healthy performance body temperature. Rear 40cm YKK® zipper with elastic cord closing at bottom prevents unwanted opening during swim. The suit is developed for maximum speed and comfort in the swim and on the bike and run.
