The Castelli Fly Direct Vest is a packable lightweight thermal vest you can carry with you on a bike ride for long adventures when you may have to ride in unfavorable weather. The layer in the vest that is closest to your body, the Polartec® Alpha® insulates while the outer layer, a woven windproof microfiber, blocks chilly wind. The DWR treatment shields from light rain. When you still need protection but require a little ventilation, you can open the vest from the top or the bottom. Three back pockets have enough space to carry energy bars. The area around the waist has a reflectivity tab for more visibility in cloudy weather.
