The Castelli Free Aero Race 4 Bib-shorts -KIT is Castelli’s top race bib-short that will keep you comfortable on the longest, hardest races. The original Free Aero Race Bib-Short was a sellout; a large number of cyclists were training and racing in the Aero Race. Since that first design, Castelli has worked to make the bib-shorts faster and even more comfortable. The minimalist design remains while every fabric has been upgraded. On the inner leg, the Forza fabric with 8% Lycra® content perfects the fit while resisting wear that could result when a cyclist pedals for miles. On the side panels, the Vortex fabric is flat and exceptionally aerodynamic. The bib-shorts fabrics are made by Italy’s best fabric suppliers so the quality of all the fabrics is high. The shorts are held in place by the seamless, flat Giro leg gripper. The Progetto X² Air Seamless seat pad has been updated. The layer closest to skin is soft, stretchy, seamless, and superbly comfortable. The padding underneath the skin layer is multi-layered so the right amount of padding is in the right areas of the seat creating comfort over 100+ mile rides and races.
