Castelli Free Tri Short

The Castelli Free Tri Short is fast in the water, fast on the bike and it dries quickly which helps keep a triathlete from overheating on the run. Not only are the shorts aerodynamic, but the compressive, breathable fabrics in these tri-shorts support muscles and keep an athlete cool and dry. A close, aerodynamic fit, flat lock seams and a time trial specific seat pad ensure comfort on the bike. The seat pad stays dry and has enough padding to protect the groin from chafing. While it’s plenty protective, the same padding becomes nearly unnoticeable on the run. By attaching a tri-top to the Tri Short with the SnapLock fastener, the shorts stay in place on the swim and bike legs. UPF 16 protection has been added to the shorts so that 94% of UV rays are blocked, a nice quality to have when you are out in the sun for hours. Pockets on the hip have been added for nutrition on the run.
