The Castelli Women’s Long Sleeve base layer is a mid-weight base layer you wear under your jersey or jacket depending on how much warmth you need on your high-intensity cold-weather rides. The doesn’t just insulate in body heat, but more importantly it keeps you dry. When you stay dry, you stay warm under your Castelli jersey or jacket. The keeps you dry thanks to the treatment that spreads moisture out over a larger area so it evaporates quicker. The polyester fabric is what pulls moisture away from the body. Keeping you from overheating is another feature planned into this performance minded base layer. The more porous Micro fabric is placed in areas that cover your shorts/tights or bib straps so you get in more air to keep you cool. Designed to fit the shape of a woman’s body, the stays close to your skin and is exceptionally comfortable thanks to flat stitching at hem.
