Castelli Prose SS

The Castelli Short Sleeve base layer is made with two different fabrics so a cyclist stays warm and dry without overheating. The main body is made of a polyester fabric layered with a hydrophilic treatment that spreads moisture over a larger area for quick evaporation. The polyester insulates while allowing air to circulate so skin breathes which is necessary to stay comfortable when riding on high intensity rides or races. The Micro fabric is a thinner layer used in areas that are covered by shorts/tights or bib straps. The location of this fabric ensures there is not too much coverage in areas of the body that already have an extra layer of material. The base layer is designed to ensure each part of the body has the right fabric so a cyclist stays comfortable when riding a bike in cooler months. The anatomical cut and flat stitching add in features to make sure a cyclist is comfortable on long endurance rides and he stays dry and aerodynamic in races.
