The Castelli Unlimited DT Ultimate Woman’s Liner Bib-short is made a woman’s seat with ultimate comfort under baggy shorts. The liner has a minimalist design and three pockets on the back. Made with Castelli’s best chamois, the Progetto X² Air seamless woman’s pad, the liner provides what a riding short lack. The Progetto seat pad has two separate parts: a soft, stretchy skin-care layer and a separate cushioning layer with varying density foam. The foam provides the right amount of padding in the right areas. On top of the foam, gel pads are added for extra protection over long distances. The hip area of the liner is made with compressive Force fabric which holds the pad in place while ventilating to keep a mountain biker drier and fresher. The legs are made with perforated fabric that circulates air and keeps you cool. The legs are held in place with Castelli’s gauze-like GIRO Air elastic. What’s so amazing of this leg construction is that you can adjust the length to match the length of your baggy shorts, so your leg won’t rub on the rougher short material. The front of the thin bib straps has an opening that lets air flow through. Reinforced with yoke, the straps stay in the right place and don’t bunch up.
