The one-piece Ale Triathlon Cipro Skinsuit with back zipper is exceptionally comfortable in all three stages of a triathlon. One of the advantages of a one-piece suit is the absence of a waist band. While the wearer is moving, the skinsuit lies smoothly against the skin. The triathlete will start the bike leg [insert: “relatively”] dry because water will not penetrate the smooth, Teflon-coated Lycra fabric. The suit has a “second skin” feel [insert: “which”] is further enhanced by the 50 mm elastic leg gripper with silicone woven through the fabric so the shorts part of the suit part stays in place without pinching the skin.
The Cipro is very lightweight and thin making is ideal for longer distance triathlons where weight makes a significant difference. The Cipro Skinsuit is great in the swim because it does not absorb water and is also great in the run because it’s cut to move with the body as the triathlete is running. The tri chamois pad is thin and narrow enough to not interfere in the run, but the skinsuit has enough padding in the forward portion of the chamois pad so the triathlete is protected on the bike. The back zipper opens from the bottom up towards the neck with an easy-to-use drawstring.
