The Assos blitzVestMilleGT adds a lightweight outer layer for the extra protection needed on windy, wet days. Made with ASSOS’ Foil Ultra, the vest blocks wind and repels water with an exceptionally lightweight woven fabric that’s silky soft against the skin. The warp-knit fabric on the sides is stretchy so the cycling vest adjusts to the shape of a cyclist’s body as he shifts his body while riding a bike. While the vest fits a cyclist’s body well, it is not as constrictive as a race fit. The vest is designed for the rider who rides his bike for fitness but doesn’t need to find the most aerodynamic clothing that a race requires. The Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish is a treatment that protects from rainfall. Rain drops bounce off the blitzVest, which is compact enough to store in a rear jersey pocket and can taken out in case of a rain emergency. The soft fabric used in the dual layer collar fits comfortably and the full-length zip is easy to adjust and it’s compact construction makes it unnoticeable while stored in a back jersey pocket. The vest is designed so it does not flap around in the wind; it lies flat against the body so air flows easily over this cycling vest.
