Made with ASSOS’ new RX fabric, these tights have the right balance between insulation, breathability and water protection making these the ideal winter riding cycling tights for the competitive cyclist. The Bonka are the warmest tights without being heavy and restricting. The fabric has a water resistant treatment so light rain and heavy moisture roles off and you stay dry at a time water against the skin can make a ride unbearable. Extra water repelling qualities are added with the WaterBarrier at the bottom of the tights, the area that receives the most spray from the road. A membrane is added to the full length front of the tights creating an extra layer for the coldest days during the winter months. Added wind-protection to the groin area reduces the need to stop the ride for a pit stop. The AEPD (Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design) was developed by ASSOS after years of research. Through this design, the advanced fabrics compress muscles, reduce muscle fatigue, and increase endurance. The tights are cut to fit the shape of the cyclist while on the bike so there is complete freedom of movement. The perfect fit also creates top notch breathability and total aerodynamics. In all of ASSOS’ long distances tights, a Cento insert has been added for extra comfort.
