Schloss Tex: This purpose-created textile is ASSOS’ most lightweight and waterproof soft-shell. Stretchy, extremely comfortable and highly packable, this 3-layer construction has excellent abrasion resistance and relies on a hydrophilic membrane.
‘Pocket slots’: There are two cleverly positioned openings on the lower rear panel that allow access to your jersey or jacket pockets. They serve a double purpose: Ventilation slots and to allow maneuver-free access to the contents of your pocket.
RacingFit: Unlike the regularFit and comfortFit, the racingFit is tighter and slightly more compressive. It will feel like a second skin while riding, although it is likely to feel restrictive when not in the riding position. Consequently, it results in a higher performance, improved comfort and less drag.
Reflex: This highly reflective material has been added to the rear of the jacket. In combination with the lolliRed colorway, this enhances visibility in even the most extreme weather conditions.
Taped seams: The taped seam construction increases the watertight properties of the jacket.
Internal and external silicon on the rear lower elastic hem: Added for stability and fit, these silicon grips ensure a good fit regardless of your exertion.

The jacket is completely waterproof while being light enough to not be noticed when packed into your rear jersey pocket. The SchlossHund weighs a mere 170 grams! Besides protection from rain, the jacket can protect you from chilling wind on a descent or along a coast. The jacket has other features that make it a top-level bad weather jacket. A silicone elastic waist band holds the jacket in place and the taped wrist and neck keep out the rain while never irritating the skin. Fewer panels and seams ensure even more waterproofness. Lower rear panel pockets provide easy access to your jersey pocket as well as adding needed ventilation when opened up. Because they understand that rain jackets are worn when the sun is obscured by dark clouds, the designers added highly reflective material to the rear of the jacket.
