Compared to the S5 counterparts, the T.neoPro_S7 is 14-percent lighter, have 47-percent fewer seams, 17-percent more soft compression and 21-percent better breathability. When riding in these ASSOS bibshorts, the soft, fitting and very breathable cycling shorts feel amazing.. Many of the inseams have been taken away by a new design with fewer panels. There is only one barely noticeable seam at the back of the leg. Even with fewer panels, there’s no loss of aerodynamics. The new fabric is denser, more compressive and more abrasion resistant than that in the S5s. The chamois is well placed. Four-way stretch and three layers provide one of the most comfortable seat pads around. The GoldenGate chamois in the T.neoPro_s7 cycling shorts is connected only at the front and the back. The floating chamois results in less stiching and therefore less friction between the skin and the chamois. The 3 panel cycling short has a more relaxed fit than the higher end ASSOS cycling shorts. While still aerodynamic, it’s doesn’t have the same compression as the T.campionissimo_s7 cycling bibshorts. Still, the straps are more stretchy than the S5 version of the T.neoPro_S7. The rear straps are attached just above the rider’s hips so there is more freedom of movement. One last quality that enhances fit and comfort are the leg bands made with silicone gripper dots.
