The Astute Skycarb 3.0 VT Carbon/Carbon cycling seat has been designed for the cyclist who wants to be comfortable on those extra-long rides. The flat surface of the seat has two pads that help absorb the shock of the road. The Memory Foam padding is firmer in the back to support sit bones and softer in the front so as to provide comfort without restricting the pedal stroke. A cut-out eliminates pressure in the pelvic area increasing the protection needed on those long bike rides. A tension arc helps distribute the pressure evenly, one extra feature to ensure comfort. The full-carbon rail is strong, sturdy and very lightweight which is part of the reason the Skycarb only weights 170 grams.
