The Skylite Taca VT Nylon/Carbon has been designed to protect a mountain biker from the bumps of cross country and cyclocross races. Two pads have been added to reduce the stress of those off-road vibrations by 20%. Memory foam is another feature to keep a mountain biker comfortable. The foam is softer in the front where the mountain biker places the most pressure and firmer in the back to protect seat bones. A central cut-out eliminates pressure in the pelvic area and a tension arc helps to evenly distribute body weight pressure so that comfort is maximized. The features in the Skylite Tace ensure an off-road rider stays comfortable on unpredictable trails where man and machine meet up with nature. Keeping down the weight was another factor planned into the Skylite. The full-carbon rail is lightweight while still being resistant to the stressed of the off road trail. Longevity is added to the Skylite with microinjection inserts that make the saddle resistant to abrasions while not compromising rider comfort.
