Castelli Body Paint 2.0 Bibshorts are the fastest cycling shorts ever made by Castelli, the cycling shorts for the cyclist who has performance in mind. The Castelli Body Paint 2.0 cycling bibshorts are named so because they feel like they are painted on. Made with knitted fabrics sewn together to make a single piece of fabric, these cycling shorts feel like a second skin. As a result of the fabric and one piece construction, they are seamless and very aerodynamic. Comfort is combined with cycling shorts that are made to enhance athletic performance. Aerodynamics in cycling has an effect on speed. Speed has an effect on whether you win or lose. Even in the cycling clothing, aerodynamics has an effect on your performance. The Body Paint 2.0 is an extremely aerodynamic pair of cycling bibshorts. Compression on your muscles increases blood flow which increases the amount of oxygen available to your muscles. Oxygen is critical if you want to perform at your best. Mesh that allows your skin to breathe is another factor which enhances performance because it helps your body to maintain a healthy performance body temperature. Comfort is also due to the Progetto X2 Air seat pad. The Garmin-Cervelo cycling team tested the cycling shorts and they suggested making the chamois more geared towards cyclists who ride for extended periods of time. Castelli engineers then added in the perforated foam layer which allows air to ventilate the pad. The foams also help to keep you dry. The layer in the seat pad that is closest to your skin has a stretch that adjusts to whatever position you ride on the bike. Not like traditional seat pads: The Progetto X2 doesn
