The Castelli Chic Knicker covers down to just below your knees for protection in fall and spring cool weather. Made with Thermoflex fleece-lined fabric, the knickers insulate body heat and evaporate sweat making them ideal for a sport where you inevitably sweat in cold weather. The stretchy feature in the fabric adds one more quality to qualify the knickers for race-ready wear. Warm, wicking and aerodynamic, the Chic Knickers provide a female racer with all she needs to ride hard in cool weather. Racers look for comfort in their race clothing which is why Castelli designed the Knickers with a soft-fit double-layer waistband. Around the knee, articulated double-layer fabric provides extra warmth as well as a bit more flexibility so the knickers don’t crease or bunch as a woman cyclist pedals. Castelli’s KISS Air seat pad has seamless fabric with a four-way stretch. The micro denier fabric is thinner than silk. This female-specific chamois pad provides total comfort for all day riding. Air flows through the surface fabric keeping the seat dry and cool. A o treatment has been added for extra protection against infections. Dual density and padding with variable thickness afford a woman the right amount of padding in the right areas. Castelli spent decades perfecting the anatomical design for a female in the bike position.
