The Castelli Climber's Woman’s Jersey started out as a lightweight jersey to make climbing easier, but the design evolved into also being a jersey great for hot and even cool weather. This hot/cold versatility is very useful when riding your bike in the mountains where temperatures can fluctuate depending on the elevation. Furthermore, when worn under a vest or jacket it has an amazing ability to wick sweat and keep a female cyclist dry from the inside out; a female cyclist can wear the Climber’s jersey in rain and feel comfortable. The Flusso 3D fabric on the front and the StradaPro 3D fabric on the back feel almost like a lightweight base layer that provides just the right amount of wind protection and moisture management so a woman stays protected and dry as she climbs or descends a mountain. The StradaPro fabric has a complex design. It’s a 100% polyester multidenier fabric with a 3D weave that creates extra space against your skin to provide top level wicking. This feature allows the fabric to dry immediately so the large amounts of body moisture that your body produces when it’s hot will dry in the blink of an eye. Even when it’s chilly the drying ensures you stay comfortable. The Flusso 3D fabric on the front and shoulders is very lightweight. While lying flat and smooth against your skin air flows effortlessly over your body as you pedal your bike. This makes the garment extremely aerodynamic. The Airmesh armbands increase air circulation to ensure your aerodynamics is complemented by breathability so you stay dry as you ride fast. An internal extra layer is added to the bust area ensuring a woman has enough coverage while riding in a jersey made with very thin material. The ¾ length zipper is long enough and easy to unzip so the woman cyclist can open the jersey for extra ventilation as she climbs up a mountain road. UPF 16 has been added for sun protection and three rear pockets are easy to access for that food required to keep a woman energized as she maximizes her efforts on her bike.
