The Castelli CX Sanremo Speedsuit Long Sleeve was designed to manage rider comfort in Belgian mud. Made with the Sanremo cut, the CX is comfortable when running through mud or pedaling over rough roads. While having a similar construction to the Sanremo road suit, the Cross Sanremo is made of more durable fabrics that withstand the torrential efforts made over muddy roads on cyclocross race courses. Long sleeves and a high neck protect in chilly weather and the aerodynamic compressive fabrics ensure the rider is race ready. The short’s portion supports working muscles and stays close to body as a rider pedals furiously over cobble stones. Castelli’s top Progetto X2 Air seat pad has multi-density padding so the right amount of cushion is provided for the racer who needs protection without padding that will get in the way of the pedal stroke. The seat pad is ventilated so air circulates to keep rider cool and dry in the seat area. The four-way stretch with a seamless o layer fits the rider perfectly no matter what the rider’s shape. The front is open so it’s easy to open up and close when more or less air is needed to maintain a rider’s comfort.
