Full waterproof protection is guaranteed by the three-layer Pertex® fabric that weighs only 43 grams but has a completely waterproof membrane and a textile inner layer that is extraordinarily comfortable against your skin. Seams of this waterproof fabric are sealed so no water gets in. While the fabric ensures complete protection from water, it is still highly breathable so you don’t overheat and your body sweat can evaporate. On the climbs up a mountain, you will appreciate the 40,000 mvtr breathability. The YKK® waterproof zipper is easy to open when you need a little extra air and easy to close when you need to seal out the rain and wind. The hems at the waist and wrists are also sealed so wet, cold wind doesn’t get in. Reflective trim is added at the collar and waist to increase safety on rainy days when the sun’s rays have been covered by clouds.
