The physical demands of an Ironman triathlon can be overwhelming which is why proper training and proper race gear is necessary for a triathlete to make it through the swim, bike and run legs of a triathlon. The Castelli Free Sanremo Suit Sleeveless has been designed to support a triathlete’s body on half and long distance triathlons. Yet for the triathlete who likes to mix it up, the Sanremo Suit’s comfort level is also accommodating for Olympic and Sprint Triathlons. The Sanremo suit is a one-piece suit that fits perfectly for comfort and aerodynamics with details such as the suit’s front construction that makes the suit easy to ventilate and easy for a nature call. The pockets sewn into the suit carry needed nutrition but don’t compromise the aerodynamics of the suit. Fabrics in the Sanremo have been placed in the right places so a triathlete has advantages in all three legs of a triathlon. The Instadry Speed fabric in the shorts makes it fast in the swim. Water flows over the suit with very little water absorption. SpeedFreak ventilated race fabric on front and Velocity mesh at back provide a very sleek, close fit that stays dry. The aerodynamics and comfort of these two fabrics combined help a triathlete stay focused on the long efforts needed to athletically perform for hours. The KISS Tri seat pad provides protection for the athlete on a 100+ mile time trial, but the light padding dries quickly coming out of the swim and practically disappears on the run. Comfort is also designed at the arms and legs: soft-finish armholes help avoid chafing and the GIRO Air leg gripper elastic keeps the shorts from riding up without pinching skin. The sleeveless construction works well for athletes who like to have their arms exposed for extra ventilation and since sleeves are prohibited in the swim, the triathlete doesn’t have to adjust his suit to accommodate for the race rules. The Castelli Free Sanremo Suit covers all the features needed for a triathlete to perform well and be comfortable in a very high demand sport.
