Castelli Free Sanremo Suit SS 2018

Castelli Free Sanremo Suit Short Sleeve is a fast speed suit designed for long distance triathlons. Every feature in Castelli’s top end tri-suit provides support for a triathlete who takes on three sports in one race. For the swim, the short is made with Instadry Speed fabric that slips through the swim with very little resistance. While the Sanremo Short Sleeve suit can be worn underneath a wet suit on the swim, the suit is designed to absorb minimal water so a triathlete will have little resistance in the water when he starts the swim with no wet suit. For the bike, the SpeedFreak ventilated race fabric on the front dries quickly and has an aerodynamic surface. The Velocity Mesh on the back is a well ventilated fabric with elastane so it too dries quickly and is aerodynamic. Wind tunnel testing has shown the elbow length sleeves are more aerodynamic than sleeveless tops. Even the 2 hip pockets are designed to be aerodynamic when loaded with food. The restrictions of wearing a full piece suit were eliminated when the engineers put in the Castelli Sanremo front construction that makes it easy to take a nature break. The front also allows in more ventilation. Comfort is enhanced with the seamless, soft skin layer on the KISS Tri seat pad. The location of the padding protects an athlete in the time trial position while not interfering on the run. The lightweight fabric in the Castelli tri-suit is porous so air flows through and keeps a triathlete dry as he takes on the long run. The leg grippers keep the shorts comfortably in place and the full length zipper lies flat against the body, but is also easy to open when extra ventilation is needed.
