Castelli used GORE-TEX® SHAKEDRY™ product technology to make the Idro 3 Woman’s Jacket. Millions of pores create a dense waterproof surface in the Gore-Tex membrane. Rain will not penetrate through the density of the surface; beads of rain will just roll off. The Gore-Tex material is double layered. The outer-layer blocks wind and the layer closest to skin evaporates sweat. Air circulates between the two layers to keep you feeling fresh. You won’t overheat as ride intensity increases and the temperature warms. You will stay dry and comfortable. Along with the waterproof surface, the jacket will also block wind. Even on days it doesn’t rain, you can use the Idra 3 Jacket to protect against chilling wind. When you ride a bike up a mountain road in the cooler months, store the jacket in your rear pocket so on the descent you can have protection against frosty mountain winds.
