Castelli made the new Meccanico warmer by adding PrimaLoft® insulation which protects in colder conditions without adding extra weight. Heat is kept in and drafts kept out with the draw cord at waist. Just in case you get caught in wet weather, a DWR outer finish was added to make sure raindrops and snowflakes roll off the jacket. The full-length front zipper seals out cold air and it is easy to open and close and zippered pockets give you secure places to store keys, money and snacks.
