The Castelli Nano Flex Pro 2 Woman’s Omloop Bib Short is the cold and wet short for the female cyclist who wants to ride no matter what. Castelli’s new Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric keeps out water and is very warm thanks to the new double-face tightly knit construction that insulates while allowing air to circulate so a woman rider stays dry. The fabric is treated on the outer layer so rain and wind are blocked out. Besides protection from the elements, Castelli created a very comfortable pair of bib shorts. Seams have been minimized and a raw edge at the bottom of the leg has been designed so it stays in place without pinching. The legs have been cut just above the knee to add a bit of extra warmth for those cool training and racing days. The Progetto X² Air Donna seat pad is designed to keep a female rider comfortable on long distances. A soft, stretchy, seamless, o layer close to skin is designed to prevent saddle sores. The thin outer padding at the edges gradually thickens to maximum thickness under the ischial bones where you sit. Perforated viscous comfort padding is added under the ischial bones and in perineum area for maximum padding in these highly sensitive areas. The padding makes these a pair of bib shorts with enough padding for protection on long endurance rides while still being thin enough so a woman cyclist has no interference with excess padding.
