Castelli made the Nano Light Pro Bib Short for training rides on moderately wet and cool days. The Nano Light Pro will keep you comfortable at a time you’re transitioning out of those long winter endurance rides when you need to be bundled up. The Nano Light Pro Bib Short is made for the pre-race season when you are introducing your body to higher intensity rides and you need lighter attire that evaporates sweat but still protects you from rainy, cool, spring weather. This short is made with Castelli’s Nano Light Pro fabric, an un-brushed version of the Nano Flex fabric. The Nano Light has a tighter weave so it keeps out more water, and the 270 g weight makes this ideal for cool weather. The tight knit construction keeps the wind out, but it’s still open enough to let body moisture evaporate. The fabric’s compressive construction provides the muscle support needed for a cyclist who is riding hard. The compression also creates close fitting bib shorts with a smooth surface for air flow. These are race-ready bib shorts that are aerodynamic and exceptionally comfortable. Castelli designed comfort into the garment even in the seams that have been minimized for comfort and also to help keep water out. Every detail emphasizes comfort including the bib straps that are made with breathable mesh so they don’t stick to you when you start to sweat. Reflective logos are for extra visibility and you won't even notice the leg grippers that keep the leg in place. The KISS Air pad is comfortable for your longest rides thanks to its multi-level padding and seamless skin layer that conforms to your body shape at all times.
