The Castelli Perfetto RoS Long Sleeve Jacket was designed for the pros to race in undesirable conditions. RoS stands for Rain or Shine. The Perfetto is a versatile Jacket. You’ll be comfortable racing in both cool, dry weather and in cold, rainy weather. Stretchy material creates a close-fitting jacket that can be used alone or over a base layer. The GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric is created by using an ultra-thin protective layer laminated to a lightweight textile. Designed with billions of pores that are 900 times larger than water vapor molecules. This translates to wind can’t get in, but water molecules can get out. Sweat evaporates instantly. A durable water repellent (DWR) treatment penetrates the jacket’s outer fibers, so water drops just roll off. Taped shoulder seams and covered zipper add even more protection against wind. When training or racing the pace intensity will undoubtedly rise. Despite being water and windproof, the fabric is also highly breathable. When you need even more ventilation, the zippered ventilation openings on side of chest can be easily unzipped to let in extra fresh air. As long as you stay hydrated, you won’t overheat in the Perfetto. Two rear pockets are easy to access even in heavily gloved hands and the Gabba-style dropped tail protects from wheel spray and keeps cold air from a rider’s rear. A large black reflective panel adds more visibility on cloudy, rainy days.
