The fabric is designed with billions of pores that are 900 times larger than water vapor molecules. Wind may not get in, but water molecules will get pushed out. Body moisture evaporates instantly. The jacket’s outer fibers are treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) treatment. Water drops just roll off. Taped shoulder seams and covered zipper add even more protection against wind.
