Castelli RS Superleggera Jersey

The Castelli RS Superleggera Jersey is a race-weight cycling jersey with practical features-- a key pocket, gripper elastic around the waist and protection from the zip at the top. These are features that are not offered when riding in the Castelli Climbers 2.0, which is a pared-down, full race jersey designed for the rider whose goal is to ride fast. The Superleggera is for the cyclist who wants to create his own challenging rides that begin at his front door or are with a competitive group that meets every weekend. In designing the Superleggera, Castelli used their stretchy, lightweight Futura 50 grams fabric that wicks sweat and provides a close contact jersey. Compression band and 3D mesh fabric insert are added to provide the support needed to keep the 3 open pockets in place when loaded with needed riding food. The neck protection that has been added to the full-length front zipper provides that extra protection against blazing sun rays or flying debris. No-sew trim at sleeves and waist gives a more comfortable, relaxed fit for the rider who desires comfort over tight fit. Visibility is increased with reflective viz strips. While Castelli promotes the Superleggera as a jersey for everyday use, it has all the qualities required by the racer—a lightweight, close fitting jersey that manages body temperature by keeping the rider dry.
