The Castelli Scossa Long-Sleeve Jersey FZ has all the features needed to be a key piece of cycling apparel for Team Sky riders. The jersey blocks the wind, so a rider doesn’t get blasted with cool air, yet the weaving in the fabric allows enough air to circulate so a cyclist doesn’t overheat and sweat is evaporated. Lycra absorbs moisture so in order to create enough stretch while keeping a rider dry, Castelli instead used the Warmer X-Stretch panels that wick sweat and allow water to roll off the jersey. The stretch, along with the dropped-pocket design and gripper elastic at waist, provides a lean, close-fitting race jersey. When in need of extra air, the zipper is easy to slide open with one hand. Three rear pockets have plenty of space to store food and are also easy to access. The reflective trim at the bottom of the pockets creates great visibility.
