Castelli TEAM SKY Climber's 2.0 Jersey FZ

Riding up a mountain on your bicycle requires cycling clothing that is lightweight and keeps you dry. Castelli was selected by Team Sky to design the Team Sky Climber’s 2.0 Jersey FZ, a race light jersey made for riding up mountains in the hottest weather. Team Sky’s Tour de France winner, Chris Froome, benefitted from this highly breathable cycling jersey that weighs just 83 grams. Froome’s attack inside of the final kilometers of the Col d’Izoard’s sizzling climb strengthened his grip on the yellow jersey. Froome crossed the summit in the Team Sky Climber’s 2.0 Jersey. On the back of the jersey, the porous StradaPro 3D Mesh fabric evaporates sweat and dries instantly, an advantage on a climb where the wind doesn’t dry off a racer’s body as he creeps uphill against gravity pushing his body to the limits. Only grams of weight have been added on the front and shoulders with the super lightweight Flusso 3D fabric which is also aerodynamically close fitting so no speed is lost on the descent. The remainder of this race jersey has a semi-stretch, professional fit with mesh raw-edge arm grippers and a lightweight Lycra trim at the waist that keeps the Climber’s Jersey resting over the body like a second skin. Three back pockets provide adequate food storage and the three reflective tabs are visible when the sun is low on the horizon.
