CatEye Strada Digital Wireless (Speed-Cadence-Heartrate)

The CatEye Strada Digital Wireless (SPD/CDC/HR) measures cadence, heart rate and speed. Knowing this information has an advantage. When you know your cadence (number of pedal revolutions per minute) you can choose the right gear for optimal pedaling efficiency. Monitoring your heart rate allows you to measure the effort you are making so you can either ease up or push harder. You can also read your current, average and maximum speed. Reading all this data while you ride your bike is easy due to the large font size. Other features include the ability to measure trip distance and elapsed time. It also provides an odometer, stopwatch, date, clock and dual tire size recognition. The automatic start/stop, power-saving and sleep modes are excellent additions that conserve battery power in the Strada. The low battery indicator for both computer and sensor gives you advanced notice so you know to charge the monitor and never lose data. The heart rate monitor chest strap is adjustable for comfort and the sensor is removable from the fabric strap. The FlexTight™ head unit bracket mounts quickly and securely to a handlebar or stem measuring 22 - 32mm in diameter. The wireless transmission distance goes up to 196 in. (5 meters) and the speed sensor works from either the front or rear wheel. Nearly interference free, the Strada CC-RD430DW has very reliable data transfer.
