“Protective, ventilated and exceedingly aerodynamic” is a quick definition of why the Kask Vertigo Helmet was designed for the professional cyclists on Team SKY who then went on to win the Tour de France two years in a row. Ventilation is achieved through 24 large air vents designed to keep you cool. But the vents don’t compromise the aerodynamic profile that allows air to flow over smoothly so you can speed through the air as you attack and counter attack to finish first. Unsurpassed comfort and fit are achieved by the hinged adjustment system which can be adjusted at once in three different planes of movement. The vertical cradle pivots twice to find the most comfortable position at the rear of the head. The horizontal tightening adjusts to fit the shape of the cyclist’s head. The round ratchet brings the cradle inward right around the head. The adjustment can be perfected from the back. There is no need to adjust under the ears. The non-slip gel on the internal liner conforms to the shape of your head to create the most exact fit. The chin strap, made from a non-allergic material, is exceptionally comfortable. Made in Italy, a country well known for races such as the Giro d’Italia, this Kask cycling helmet weighs only 270 grams, but protection is not compromised. For protection, in case of a crash, the expanded polystyrene shell absorbs the impact of the pavement on the road. The innovative inner frame has greater mechanical strength which prevents it from shattering in case of shock. Removable and washable, the Coolmax textile internal pads draw moisture away from the head to keep you dry. The area where the straps are in contact with the skin has first-rate ventilation which adds to the comfort you gain while riding in the Kask cycling helmet during the warmer months.
