Sidi ALBA Cycling Shoe

The Sidi ALBA Cycling Shoe provides a stiff race shoe for the cyclist who wants to tackle the high intensity of bike racing in his first SIDI cycling shoe. While classified as an entry level road shoe, the Alba has all the features of a race-ready SIDI cycling shoe. Stiff sole, an exact fit and durability are offered at an entry level price. The upper is made with the strong Politex material that resists ripping, lacerations, stretching and fading. In making the Millennium 4 Carbon Sole, carbon fiber was injected in a matrix of Nylon which provides much more rigidity than the traditional nylon sole. The sole doesn’t absorb water which also helps the shoe maintain its rigidity through multiple race seasons. An anti-slip toe insert and replaceable polyurethane heel pad have been added to provide a very walkable cycling shoe. A standard 3-hole drilling pattern compatible with the best pedal systems includes a printed 10 mm lateral and fore/aft cleat alignment scale on the sole as well as the Look Memory Eyelet for easy cleat alignment and replacement. Multiple features provide a rider with the opportunity to find the perfect fit. The upper portion can be adjusted with SIDI’s Techno-3 system that uses SIDI’s Wire material to provide even pressure over the foot. The buckle is easy to turn in small increments, even as you are riding your bicycle. The mid and lower portions of the cycling shoe can be secured using two Velcro® straps. The Velcro stays securely sealed even on pedal strokes when you are maximizing leg force. Adding to the just-the-right fit is the reinforced heel that keeps the foot in the best positon as well as helping to maintain the shape of the cycling shoe.
