The SIDI Cape Mountain Bike Shoes are durable, comfortable and safe to wear as you are riding off road. In the Cape Mountain Bike Shoe, SIDI has combined a stiff sole with varying ways for the rider to tweak adjustments and find a perfect fit. The mountain bike competition sole in the Cape has a forgiving stiffness that provides the surface for leg power transfer but allows some flexion in the foot which keeps blood flowing. The sole also accommodates toe/heel spikes for use in wet, muddy terrain. After nearly half a century of design, SIDI has discovered ways to allow the rider to easily adjust different parts of a shoe for the perfect fit. The Techno 3 Precision Ratchet closes in on the entire length of a shoe. The adjustments are smooth, exact and easy to manage even as you are riding your bike. The Techno 3 is replaceable and serviceable. The Caliper Buckle can be incrementally opened and closed click by click. It can be closed gradually one buckle at a time or both side buckles can be lifted to completely open the shoe. The lock is so strong that it can withstand hours of leg power and never lose any of its closure. The SIDI heel cup keeps the heel in place which helps increase the amount of power that transfers to the pedal. The heel area of the Cape will not deform because of the strength of the heel cup material.
