Sidi Dominator 7 SR Cycling Shoe has been a favorite amongst mountain bikers thanks to the security and comfort the Dominator provides to the rider as he takes on rough trails that require him to use his body to jump over obstacles sometimes in the saddle and sometimes with the mountain bike across his shoulder. The new SIDI sole was designed specifically for off road riding. Made of nylon with polyurethane inserts, the sole provides good grip when you are running through mud which will drop off the bottom of the shoe as soon as you clip back into your pedals. Trail security is added with the non-slip central insert. Additionally, crampons can be mounted to improve traction to toe area which can be easily replaced by screws if worn down. Multiple features ensure a mountain biker is comfortably secured into the cycling shoe. Foot pressure is evenly distributed by the soft instep closure system, a soft, padded, curved strap. At the upper portion, a central buckle allows a rider to find just the right tension by pushing the center button one tooth at a time to tighten or to loosen. Yet, when you are ready to remove the shoe, you can lift both side buckles at the same time for a quick opening. The two Velcro straps in the middle and lower portion of the Sidi mountain bike shoes are made with integrated polymer teeth that latch onto themselves and become unmovable when you are pedaling. The upper is constructed with a breathable microfiber that supports your foot by keeping it dry and comfortable.
