The Sidi GENIUS 7 AIR Cycling Shoes are a comfortable pair of entry-level race shoes with all the classic features of a Sidi shoe---stiff with a secure, easy-to-adjust fitting system. In the Millennium sole, Carbon fiber is injected into a Nylon matrix which provides maximum stiffness while having enough flexibility to allow your foot to bend enough for comfort. The sole does not absorb water so it maintains rigidity and the race quality features of a cycling shoe that directs leg power into the pedal. The heel pad can be replaced by unscrewing it from the shoe. The Micro Tec microfiber is a synthetic leather with all the advantages of leather plus the addition of other positive features. The upper is soft and comfortable while it repels water and resists abrasion. The microfiber is strong -- one of the many features to ensure the shoe has a long life. The shoe can be loosened and tightened using one buckle and two Velcro® straps. The buckle can be adjusted click-by-click until you get the perfect fit. The Velcro® straps use polymer grip so when they are sealed, they stay sealed. The Adjustable Soft Instep Closure System distributes the pressure of the adjustments equally across the instep.
