Sidi SIDI ZERO GORE TEX Cycling Shoe

In wet, cold winter weather, you can buy botties to cover your cycling shoes or you can take the hardier approach and slide your feet into the SIDI Zero Gore Tex Cycling Shoe, a waterproof winter shoe. Made with the Gore-Tex membrane, no water can get in while heat and sweat dissipate thanks to the 9 billion pores per square inch. These pores are smaller than a water droplet (rain) but bigger than water vapor (sweat). Additionally, a water-tech treatment repels water and since it is a water-based product, less noxious emissions are released to the air. The Zero Shoe is very eco-friendly. The uppers are also eco-friendly. Made with the microfiber Microtech mesh, a synthetic leather, the shoes are resilient to the wear of riding a bike in all sorts of harsh weather. The microfiber is also water repellant. Besides having all the features of a winter cycling boot, the Zero is also a performance cycling shoe. The Millennium 5 sole is made of nylon matrix injected with carbon fiber. This construction provides just enough stiffness to makes the ideal medium for power transfer from leg to pedal. Another advantage of the sole is that it will not absorb moisture so it maintains its stiffness through multiple training seasons. The fit is another feature to ensure a cyclist is well-fit and comfortable in his cycling shoes. SIDI’s Techno-3 system customizes the fit that can be adjusted using SIDI’s easy-to-adjust Wire material. On the upper portion, twist the buckle to take easy incremental steps for the right fit. On the lower portion of the shoe, a Velcro strap is also easy to adjust. When the Velcro is strapped, it stays closed and keeps the foot in place. Additionally, a reinforced heel also keeps the foot comfortably in place. For walkability, Sidi included a replaceable polyurethane heel pad.
