The equal distribution of tension not only improves performance by directing leg power into the pedal, but it also helps maintain comfort on those long-distance cross-country races and rides. The Speed shoe features SIDI’s MTB competition nylon sole that offers one of the stiffest and lightest sole platforms excellent for cross-country races. When a course requires a dismount through overly rocky or muddy conditions, the Competition sole may be fitted with two toe spikes on the front. Transferring leg power into the pedal is also designed into the SIDI Heel cup that keeps the heel from slipping. The heel cup’s strong, solid structure protects the foot in case of a crash. On top of speed and comfort, the SIDI Speed MTB shoes are durable thanks to the multi-layered Politex material that doesn’t rip and stretch out. The Speed MTB shoes are durable, and they maintain their race qualities for multiple race seasons.
