✔ The Politex material is constructed of several overlapping layers with different physical and mechanical properties. This compacted PVC is then coupled to two fabrics (knitted fabric and felt) that is then film dyed for long lasting color retention. Politex offers strong resistance to rips, lacerations, stretching and fading. Politex is made in strict compliance with European regulations and is considered a "green” product.

The Sidi T-5 Woman’s AIR has many features that make this a great cycling shoe for a female triathlete, yet it also has the race required stiffness and comfort for a woman bike racer. Your foot will stay comfortably in place while sprinting, while maximum leg power is directed into the pedals on a time trial effort and the lightweight shoes will feel nearly weightless as you are committed to ride in your T-5 Air up a mountain road. Many features make sure the T-5 lasts for many race seasons. The T-5 Woman’s Air is designed specifically for the shape of a woman’s foot that tends to be narrower and smaller. SIDI made the shoe narrower across the ball of the foot and in the heel cup. It has less volume on the instep area. The Twelve Carbon Composite Sole is made of nylon injected with carbon fiber. This combination results in a stiffer sole that lasts a long time so you can have shoes that efficiently transfer your leg power into the pedal for multiple seasons. As you pedal and accelerate, the reinforced heel cup keeps your foot in place while withstanding pressure. This is another feature that ensures the shoe maintains its high-quality race features. To close the shoe, SIDI incorporated two straps with a grippy finish making them secure and easy to adjust on the bike or as you are making the transition from swim to bike. The oversized heel pull-tab makes it easy to pull on the shoe with no hesitation while efficiently streaming through the transition between two legs of a triathlon. The shoe is made with Politex material with overlapping layers that provide a secure, comfortable fit in a cycling shoe that resists tears, stretching and fading.
